The most talked-about word in today’s world: Success!
Personal development seminars, TEDx talks, entrepreneurial stories…
They are all built around the idea of achieving success.
We are taught to chase success and to believe that once we achieve it, we will finally be happy.
As a result, we now have groups of people who do not know where they are going or what they truly want.
But they are constantly running after success.
People chase every new trend, only to end up experiencing burnout.
Should everyone really chase what is imposed on us as “success”?
Are the people we consider successful truly happy?
And what is the real definition of success?

Does Everyone Have to Fit the Same Success Pattern?
You have to wake up at 5 AM. You have to work for hours. You have to start your own business and make really big money.
If this is truly success, then why do famous actors, singers, and businesspeople commit suicide?
Why is success presented as one fixed pattern? And why is everyone expected to fit into that pattern?
Why do we spend all our energy simply chasing something?
With the development of technology and artificial intelligence, our world has become speed-oriented.
The more output you can produce in a short time, the more successful you are considered.
In the end, you become someone addicted to cheap dopamine.
Not even knowing what you are really doing, with all your energy drained.
Then you watch more motivational videos. You follow other people’s success stories, fall into FOMO, and keep the cycle going.
Stop Chasing Cheap Dopamine, Find Your “Why”
Yes, everyone wants to achieve something.
But there is one question you often forget to ask yourself here.
What do you really want?
What are your expectations from life?
What do you want to contribute to people and to yourself?
What is your real dream, the life you truly want to live?
Who do you want to be?
What kind of person do you want to become?
And most importantly, what is your WHY?
Why do you want all of these things?
The answers to these questions are the starting point for bringing not only success, but also inner fulfillment.
The mind of someone who has a ‘why’ and knows what they want is clear.
And CLARITY IS POWER.
When your mind reaches a sharp sense of clarity, your focus increases.
And you stop running from one thing to another.
Your brain stops seeking cheap dopamine and starts focusing on your own purpose.
Live Your Own Purpose, Not Someone Else’s Dream
Just as everyone has a unique fingerprint, everyone also has a unique purpose.
Chasing what others are doing means missing your own purpose.
And this constantly pushes you into inner restlessness.
If you want wealth, wealth that comes without purpose will not add anything meaningful to your life.
On the contrary, you may be crushed under its weight, and it may even lead to deeper psychological problems.
However when you move forward with a real purpose, both wealth and inner peace follow.
That is why you must clearly define what you want and why you want it.
Your purpose might not make sense to others.
And that is exactly how it should be.
You might just want a peaceful family.
You might want to focus on raising your children in the best way possible.
You might want to do something for orphaned children.
You might want to help people who have given up on themselves.
Or you might want to create a new technology for disabled people.
No purpose has limits; none is too small or too big.
If your ‘why’ is clear, your focus becomes clear.
If your focus is clear, your chances of fulfilling your purpose and finding inner peace become much higher.
In this way, rather than wasting time chasing countless things, you become one of the best in your own purpose.
The Deepest Pain Creates the Strongest Purpose
I, too, have had many times when I lost my way and tried to chase after everything.
And the time I lost is never coming back.
Losing my mother at a very young age, and my father shortly after, made it difficult for me to find my own path.
Like everyone else, I also had things I wanted to do beyond myself.
But for a long time, I couldn’t figure out what to do or find my ‘why’.
Then I realized that I want to help people who have lost their way just like me.
And I want to help those who became orphans at a young age like me.
Thankfully, Allah gave me a wonderful wife and a child as a gift.
I found the peaceful family environment that I could not find in my childhood in my 30s.
Believe me, even writing on this blog is a huge step for me.
Now, every day, I improve myself and move forward in line with my purpose.
I am even developing an app that I believe will help people — and most of all, help myself.
And every day, I am grateful for all of this.
Choose Your Own Path and Take Action
Clearly define what you want and who you want to be.
Clarify your focus and take action.
Most of the time, the point where you have suffered the most becomes the purpose that will bring you the greatest peace.
That is exactly what happened to me.
Now it is time to stop watching what people are doing on social media and feeling regret.
It is time to stop chasing success just to receive approval.
Remember, everyone finds peace in a different place in this life.
And everyone has an area where they can add value to this world.
And never forget: CLARITY IS POWER!
