How do others manage to do things that seem very complicated to you? Have you ever wondered?
You find yourself stuck in a monotonous life, repeating the same things over and over. You don’t know how to fix it.
This makes you depressed. The chaos in your mind grows even larger. And the cycle keeps repeating itself.
I used to believe there was no way out of this vicious cycle.
And I thought everything was too complicated and that I would never be able to untangle this mess.
Until I attended Tony Robbins’ Time To Rise Summit…
During the seminar, Tony Robbins talked about a concept that felt as if he was speaking directly to me—something that broke my negative beliefs.
Patterns…
If we understand three key things about patterns, transforming our lives becomes that much easier.
“The greatest benefit of recognizing patterns is that it gives you a pathway to power, and a ladder out of chaos.” – Tony Robbins

Recognizing Patterns:
Think back to the first time you drove a car or started your first job…
There were so many things to manage. And it all felt like chaos, didn’t it?
But over time, you began to learn by observing and imitating what experienced people were doing.
Soon, driving or doing your job started to feel easy. You switched to autopilot and hardly noticed how you were doing it.
However, not all autopilot habits are beneficial.
For example, if you come home from work and immediately collapse onto the couch, turn on the TV, and start munching on chips, it’s a pattern worth questioning.
That’s why it’s essential to recognize that everything operates on a system—on patterns.
When you started your job, you observed and adopted others’ patterns to get things done. You can recognize your own patterns in the same way.
Or you can recognize the patterns of those who have already achieved what you aim to do. And use them in your life.
- What habits do you practice every day?
- What do you do on autopilot?
- What are others doing differently from you?
Write down all the patterns you notice. Once you recognize patterns, you can step out of chaos.
Recognizing patterns gives you an edge. The best part? Patterns are universal and unaffected by circumstances.
Using Patterns:
Big goals are achieved through small, consistent habits—and habits are all about patterns.
The key is to recognize and utilize patterns. Not to let them them control you.
Once you recognize a pattern, explore how to make it work for you.
- How can you make this pattern serve your goals?

And you can choose and use the patterns that work best for you.
To improve my writing I look at the writings of authors like Tim Denning and Derek Hughes on Medium.
I learn their patterns and figure out how to use them to my own work. As a result, my writing improves much faster.
You, too, can use your own patterns or those you’ve learned to transform your life.
Breaking/Creating Patterns:
Once you’ve recognized and used patterns…The next step is to break negative ones and create new, empowering ones.
All successful people are masters of creating new patterns.
Breaking the patterns of a negative habit and creating patterns that empower you takes you to a different level of power.
- How can you break a negative habit’s pattern?
- What patterns can you create to bring more abundance, passion, and success into your life?
- What habits can you develop to make your life more enjoyable?
Once you master pattern creation, no circumstances will matter to you. Because you’ll adapt easily to any situation and turn it to your advantage.
Even our Creator, God, provides us with plenty of guidance in the Holy Book about which habits to adopt.
For instance, He says “When you have finished your task, strive onward to the next”. And encourages us to stay in motion and maintain momentum.
Why? Because if we overindulge in rest and get trapped in our comfort zone, it’s evident that unhappiness will follow.
To prevent this, we can create patterns that promote active rest.
Similarly, the act of gratitude is emphasized repeatedly in all holy scriptures.
Gratitude makes us aware of our resources. And it removes the feeling of inadequacy.
So why not create patterns that make gratitude a habitual part of our lives?
Another repeated command is to “Turn to your Lord.”
Isn’t it incredibly comforting to turn to a power greater than ourselves when facing challenges?
Knowing that a divine force supports us can make our goals feel more achievable and manageable.
This awareness can make easy to take action. So we can create patterns that let us know that God is with us every moment.
- Recognize patterns!
- Get out of autopilot!
- Set out to create positive patterns and habits!
